We are incredibly honored to share that RAISE Foundation has been featured in the Korean international news outlet, World Korean News. The article highlights our ongoing work supporting children battling leukemia through educational camps, mentorship activities, and fundraising initiatives in Beijing. What began as a small student-led initiative founded by Korean and Korean-American students has now grown into a diverse international community of over 40 student volunteers united by a shared mission: creating positive change beyond borders. We are deeply grateful to every volunteer, supporter, partner organization, and child who has been part of this journey. This recognition is not only a milestone for our organization, but also a reminder that students can create meaningful impact through compassion, leadership, and action. During the May holiday, we successfully held our third camp at Happy School, a school that supports children diagnosed with leukemia. This camp was another meaningful opportunity for us to connect with the students and create a positive and engaging environment. Throughout the camp, we organized a variety of interactive activities, including English learning sessions, games, and hands-on group activities designed to encourage participation, creativity, and confidence. Our goal was not only to teach, but also to bring energy, joy, and support to the children. We are especially grateful to the three volunteers who came to support us. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and care played an important role in making this camp a success. We look forward to continuing our work with Happy School and creating even more impactful experiences in the future.

As part of the camp, our children took part in a special drawing activity where each child chose a volunteer to draw. It was a fun and meaningful way for them to express their creativity while building a closer connection with the volunteers. Through this simple activity, the children were able to share how they saw and appreciated the people around them. Each drawing reflected their unique perspective, filled with imagination, personality, and warmth. The moment of exchanging the drawings brought genuine smiles and laughter, creating a memorable experience for both the children and the volunteers.

Heartfelt Thanks to Our Volunteers! ❤️ Thanks to the community's generosity, we donated 728 RMB for children with Leukemia! Our charity event brought in a total of 928 RMB across Alipay and WeChat; after covering our 200 RMB rental cost for the booth, every cent of the remaining profit is going directly toward purchasing life-saving medication. Huge shoutout to the RAISE Foundation volunteer team for making this possible: Zhao Shu Yuan, Bao Shu Yang, Vologdin Yaroslav, Artemis Chan, Irina Salazar-Hu, Olivia Noh, and Udval Tumenbayar. Together, we are making a difference!

The RAISE Foundation recently organized a meaningful charity event at THE BOX in Beijing, bringing together volunteers and community members to support children suffering from leukemia. The event aimed to raise funds through the sale of donated items, including books and toys, creating both a lively and compassionate atmosphere. A total of seven dedicated volunteers participated in the event, working together to manage sales, interact with visitors, and spread awareness about the cause. Their teamwork and commitment played a key role in the event’s success. Thanks to the strong support from the public, the charity was able to raise a significant amount of money. All proceeds from the event will be donated to help children battling leukemia, contributing to their medical care and overall well-being. Overall, the event not only generated valuable funds but also highlighted the power of community involvement and compassion in making a real difference.
